Marietta, GA - Working people have never been more disenfranchised than today - rights abolished, programs designed to help the working poor eliminated and sustained attacks on the hard-won progress by labor over the past 100 years. All this has happened in just nine months into the Trump regime. Through weaponizing the Department of Justice and unleashing ICE and federal law enforcement agencies, they are adding an authoritarian jackboot to these efforts to undermine the working class. This Labor Day, communities across the country will be joining together to stand strong, fight for public schools over private profits, healthcare over hedge funds, and shared prosperity over corporate politics.

Working people built this nation and know how to take care of each other. This movement will never stop fighting for families and the rights and freedoms that ensure access to opportunity and a better life for all Americans. The billionaire's time is up.

On September 1st, Americans will continue demonstrating for the rights of all, just as we did when we launched the movement on May 1st -- standing in solidarity with all our communities under attack and fighting for real wins for all our people.

In thousands of communities around the country people will take a stand on Labor Day. On the streets, at congressional offices, and outside the offices of the corporations who are behind the attacks on our cherished freedoms. Together we will demand a world that works for all of us. Join the rally on September 1.
