Marietta, GA - Indivisible Cobb will be returning to the local office of Representative Barry Loudermilk to express their views on the current administration and its policies. Although the congressman has been back in his home district on a six-week break from Washington, he has not committed to meeting with all the voters he represents. Although he did appear at a Cobb Chamber of Commerce luncheon (alongside Lucy McBath (D) of the Georgia 6th District), the venue and ticket prices for the event precluded many county residents from attending. He has steadfastly dismissed holding any type of open forum or town hall.

“The truth is our Congressional members represent ALL constituents -- Republican, Democrat and Independent,” said Stacey Parlotto, a leader of the Indivisible Cobb group. “Many of us have questions about the actions undertaken by this Congress and we deserve to hear from Representative Loudermilk. The slow-walking regarding the release of the Epstein files, the conflicting explanations from this White House and the unique treatment of convicted child-predator Ghislaine Maxwell, has all of us concerned, regardless of party affiliation. Each week during this Congressional recess we gather at his district office to make ourselves available to him for dialogue and answers. To date, Congressman Loudermilk's response has been crickets."
