Group To Be Recognized for Community Service at the 46th Annual Gala
Marietta, GA - On Saturday, November 15th, Cobb NAACP will recognize Indivisible Cobb as their “2025 Community Service Award” recipient at their 46th Annual Freedom Fund Awards Gala.
The Oscar R. Freeman Freedom Awards honor Oscar Freeman, a civil rights icon who played a crucial role in the fight for equality in Cobb County. The Gala serves as an annual fundraiser for the Cobb County NAACP, helping support their vital work in the community. This event is not only a celebration of the progress made in civil rights but also an opportunity to recognize the work that remains to be done.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by the Cobb NAACP with this award,” said Stacey Parlotto, a leader of Indivisible Cobb. “Working arm-in-arm with them, sharing a common aim of improving the lives of our most vulnerable Cobb County communities and fighting to preserve the rights of all our neighbors is both essential and rewarding work,” Parlotto added.
“Collaborating with Indivisible Cobb this past year to advance our common goals of giving back to the community and gaining their support in advancing the NAACP’s mission has been so gratifying,” said Jeriene Bonner-Willis, President of Cobb NAACP. “Our motto for this year’s gala is ‘The Fierce Urgency of NOW,’ a sentiment shared with the team at Indivisible Cobb as well. The results of our working together are yielding tangible results and gives you so much hope for the future.”
The 46th Annual Freedom Fund Awards Gala will take place on this Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center. To inquire about tickets for the event, please call Cobb NAACP at 770-425-5757.
